ISTAO: a business school since 1967
For over 40 years, ISTAO has educated both fresh graduates and managers who have influenced the business world today. It has become a point of reference in the diffusion of an entrepreneurial culture. Professor Giorgio Fuā founded the school with the support of A. Olivetti Foundation, the Social Science Research Council of the United States, the Italian National Research Center and the Bank of Italy.
Once part of the Faculty of Economics of Ancona University, it gained its own independence in 1967 through developing ties with key organizations, focusing on the school mission & dedicating itself to high standards of teaching. ISTAO has taught over 1800 students, Over 1500 companies has collaborated with the school. It has also been supported by 1600 professional educators and prominent speaker.
Why a school dedicated to Adriano Olivetti
Fuā considered Olivetti an outstanding entrepreneur whose mission was to build, lead and develop groups of people by making them feel like part of a common creative project to be proud of (G. Fuā).
